The Greenwood Spring Film Camp sows into a growing film community of color in Tulsa by pouring into the next generation of filmmakers. Their messages will reverberate throughout the community at large.

Greenwood Film Festival 2nd Annual Spring Film Camp will take place spring of 2024 for two weeks. The camp focuses on ages from 10-18. During this camp, students will have the opportunity to learn from industry pros about directing, writing, and cinematography. The setup is much look a workshop where students are hands-on, learning many filmmaking positions, and creating a short film.

In the spring of 2022, our first class of students helped write, direct, and act in a short film entitled Returns! The film had children from middle and high school and premiered at the 2nd Annual GFF.

In front of a live audience, one actor in the film got a chance to not only see herself on the big screen but was interviewed on the red carpet!
